PROGRAM DURATION: 45 MINUTES

When it comes to managing risk in a deadly environment, the leadership decisions you make can be the difference between life and death. Few know this better than our keynote speaker, Brigadier General Joe E. Ramirez (retired). He is a career Army officer who has led troops around the world in both peacetime and wartime, including serving Deputy Chief of Staff for the wartime headquarters overseeing Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. Ramirez will present an insightful and compelling narrative about what it takes to lead a team to be safe in potentially dangerous environments.

YOU WILL LEARN:

  • A better understanding of your role as a leader.
  • Why it's important to change and adapt on an ongoing basis.
  • How to effectively manage generational differences.
  • Why failure is not fatal (but failure to change is)
  • How to build values based on your instinct to collaborate
  • Why you must establish trust with every member of your team
