David McPeak, CSP, CHST, CUSP, CSSM, is the Director of Education at the Incident Prevention Institute of UBM.  David graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a degree in Information Systems and Operations Management.  His professional experience includes operations management along with safety and training.  He holds multiple safety and training certifications from the BCSP, USOLN, and NCCER and has received numerous awards including being recognized as a Rising Star of Safety by the National Safety Council.  David has served as the Chairman of Task Team One of the OSHA ET&D Partnership, on the Editorial Board of Incident Prevention Magazine, and as a member of the North Carolina Apprenticeship Council.
